This article by Greg Re of Fox News discusses a recent shooting in California at the YouTube headquarters and the identification of the shooter. The women suspected of shooting 3 people before killing herself was identified as 39 year old Nasim Aghdam of Southern California. Aghdam was upset with the company after they stopped paying her for videos she posted. Her father Ismail reported her missing on Monday after not hearing from her for two days. The Mountain View police called around 2 a.m. on Tuesday to say they found her sleeping in the car and Ismail warned them she may be headed to YouTube headquarters because she hated the company. Aghdam had a personal website alleging YouTube and says they "censor people who speak the truth." Her videos were removed for violating the companies terms of service on Tuesday but her personal website remained up online. People in the building during the shooting saw her on a patio outside and said she wore glasses and a scarf and was using a big pistol. The people in the building were terrified and hiding in conference rooms.

This relates to AP Gov class because we look at our countries issues and crazy things like this that are happening. We talk about our government a lot and this is something they need to get under control. We watch CNN10 in the mornings where they talk about the weeks issues and what is happening. Although it doesn't relate completely to what were learning right now it relates to what the class is based around and our government and politics.

My view on this is that something needs to be stopped. The fact that the father warned police of where his daughter may be headed and they didn't prevent this shooting is terrible. They found the girl sleeping in a car which is already suspicious and they didn't see that as any sign to look more into what she may have planned. These shootings continue to be a growing issue in America
